Take Action and Volunteer
FeedingNYC is a grass-roots organization and relies on the generosity of people like you to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to thousands of families in need throughout the city. With help from volunteers, donors, and corporate sponsors, FeedingNYC has delivered complete meals to sheltered families for 10 years!
We encourage you to support Feeding NYC’s efforts by either donating or joining over 300 volunteers to pack and deliver meals to local families and shelters. Your efforts and contributions directly impact families in need within the five boroughs of New York and insures that we can continue to bring smiles to more faces each year.
Thank you for interest in donating time to volunteer for our packing and delivering event. To volunteer please arrive at Moynihan Station, 360 W 33rd Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues) at 6AM on Wednesday, November 21st.
If you are unable to volunteer please consider these other ways you can help supply meals to hungry families this holiday season:
- Adopt a Box by making a donation to FeedingNYC.
- Contact your local shelter and ask how you can help.
- Contact your local food bank or soup kitchen and volunteer your time.
We're doing whatever it takes to provide families in need with a Thanksgiving meal, but we can't do it without you. $35 feeds 1 family, $175 feeds 5. Please give generously today.
